Great price. They have R7 on sale too and it has higher resolution and better stabilizer.

almost the same price ($1016 before tax, after rebate site 7.5%) at Canon and you won;t have to worry about warranty coverage

I got an offer approved on Greentoe for $979. No tax and comes from authorized dealer. This is a far better deal

PSA: 6AVE is a grey market reseller (one of many on eBay, Amazon, and Walmart). That means no manufacturer support. No warranty, no repairs, and in some cases you have to jump through hoops to get a firmware upgrade if you are even able to get one to begin with. If you're going this route I strongly suggest purchasing extended protection if offered through the vendor.

Some manufacturers will not cover warranty issues and some may not service at all (Nikon.) By some reports, Canon treats these cameras like any regular product ( https://www.the-digital-picture.c...arket.aspx ) although they have ambiguous language on their web site ( https://www.usa.canon.com/support/gray-market .) Note the use of "may not" rather than "will not." In the past, there were posters on DP Review reporting they could register for a warranty and get service as long as they had a receipt. Many reported that outside of warranty service and updates were no trouble.
