Costco up until ~3 months ago used to carry chewable pig ear treats for less than $23 for a 35oz bag.

Now that they don't carry it anymore I can't find any alternatives (beef or pork ears) that are even close to that price.

Any of you guys have a suggestion?

My Costco has a 12 count of bully sticks for a pretty good price, but they are MASSIVE, like a foot long and thick (giggity). Not a good size for a nightly treat. I have cut them into sections before but it is a pain in the ass. And that's if your Costco even carries them.

I get these bully sticks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1 on a monthly subscribe and save from Amazon which brings them down to $56.69 currently w/ a 10% subscribe & save discount. MSRP of $70 sucks for 25 bully sticks, but they are the right size and have pretty consistent quality. They're just expensive, no getting around it. One penis per bull, usually, so that's going to limit demand. I know you're talking about pig ears, but I can vouch for that brand. Out of 50 or so bags I've only received 2 or 3 that were very funky.

Thanks for your response. Funny thing is I actually got those bully sticks from Costco for my dog as a substitute for the pig ears but as you said, they are huge but most of all my dog doesn't seem to like them that much. Maybe I'll try this other brand but I was hoping for some kind of pig ear alternative.

This has got to be one of the weirdest "word and word" brands out there. At some point someone realized cutesy names like "Melissa and Doug" or "good and gather" or "bumble and bumble" would trick us into thinking it's a small business or just a couple people selling candles and wooden puzzles at Target. But this one is an all-timer for cutesy names meant to create an emotional response. And saying it must sound so weird. "Can I get the 20lb bag of Wild Salmon I and Love and You kibble?"
