Just a heads-up these are NOT the energy monitoring version if that matters to you. The EP25 version does Homekit and energy monitoring.
I'd spend the extra $4 ($1 per plug) for an energy monitoring version. It's well worth it IMO and has already gotten me to reconfigure my desktop PC for reduced energy consumption after I found out how much it was using doing simple tasks.

You will have to use the Kasa app and share with Alexa. For what its worth, I have Kasa light switches installed and they have been working quite well and responsive with Alexa.

Do we have to use the Kasa app or could this possibly just use the Alexa app? I hate having to download another app for them.

I just hate having to download another app. That alone makes me want to spend more $$. I checked out the PDF and it said that it might just automatically register and I was hoping that's the case.
I hear you, but you download once to set it up, then you set the schedule on it or just tell Alexa when to turn it on of off. It's been over a year since I opened the app.

I'm also seeing an offer for 20% cashback on this for Amazon store card. (maybe YMMV)

I got the energy monitor versions of these. Love them... Since they're 15A, I use them from everything from lights, fans, and heaters(yes, heater(1000W).

These are great. And this is a good price.
But they won't make it here in time for Christmas. The old days of Amazon prime shipping really being 2-day shipping have come and gone.

It really depends on where you live. My regular orders and S&S orders consistently show up ahead of schedule. Its actually pretty annoying because then I have to rush home. Haha

Kasa devices now work with the Tapo app. I just use the Tapo app for all my TP-Link stuff.
