Fantastic find. That's incredibly inexpensive for that long of a flight. 40,800 miles and it includes a checked bag

I post ATL deals pretty regularly, since I agree with you Smilie We just had Australia for $860-ish during spring (fall down there), but we had seat selection and changes.

You're not gonna see ATL on the FP much compared to NYC or LA. Law of averages, plus ATL tends to be a little more steeply priced than CLT or the northeast cities.

Sub-$600 to NZ is crazy.

That's incorrect. It is 13,000 miles round trip LAX <-> AKL.

13 hours in a middle seat doesn't sound all that fun - even main at 732$ is a really good deal and could get you a window/aisle, Sky Club access permitted if you have something that can get you in, and upgrade options.

I hope all of these A350's have been reconfigured from those old LATAM seats. I think they were all completed earlier this year.

FWIW, I am in Atlanta and sometimes will do separate tickets since ATL to LAX to AKL (or SYD, BNE) on the same ticket is so much more expensive than ATL to LAX and LAX onward. I have had very nice Delta people combine my tickets if they're close enough together, but I've had some refuse, so don't count on them doing that. It's great when they do... I usually end up spending the night going over since missing that flight would be awful and I get to go to Rock'N Fish to have a great meal Smilie.

Would this be their fall/winter? Is end of Feb or early March still warm, or is it jacket weather?

Their summer goes through February (and stays pretty warm through March) so it should be nice weather for most of this.

If this was from east coast i could have jumped on main in exit row, did it to AU it was not horrible. Also now I have delta status and amex card, so could have maybe gotten free bump to comfort. But honestly flights like this better off in biz class or better. But yes overall for the miles especially even basic economy is a good value. You may also not have a full flight, so free space to even possibly lie down.

Being tall, this would probably kill me. Delta economy is tiny. =*(

You may want to try signing up (free or paid) for the Going app and set you desired departure location. It used to be Scott's flights.
