The big difference is that this show does not reveal the perpetrator until the end. The clues are revealed in flashbacks to show how the main character solved the crime.

Mystery writer and amateur detective Jessica Fletcher - a down-to-earth, middle-aged widow - ferrets out the criminals in idyllic Cabot Cove, Maine, which apparently is the murder capital of the United States for the show's 12-season run. Though while travelling, she uncovers a fair number of killers as well.

If anyone has bought this, how many episodes/seasons have audio description? It lists AD, but for tv shows sometimes it's just like 1 episode, or a later special episode, rather than whole seasons like I believe Amazon prime has. Thsnks in advance uf anyone checks.

oh man total comfort show! wife and i watch nightly as our sleep mood setter. not because it's boring, but because it's comforting, especially the cabbot cobe (cabbage cove as we call it) episodes.

when netflix removed it (on NEW YEARS DAY! after partying we felt that one!) we were devastated because we couldn't find it ANYWHERE. I know digital is fleeting, but I think buying it is safer than just hoping it stays on streaming.

wish it wasn't appletv tho, I don't have/use any apple stuff Frown

still, some good (and hilariously terrible) epsiodes in there. the VR one and the Friends one (they call it "Buds" lol) are especially hilarious Big Grin

You don't need an apple product. Their TV app is on pretty much everything now and that is all you need to watch the content you buy from them.

I would much rather pay $25 to watch the shows than deal with all the adds where it is streamed free.

oh that's good to know thanks! All my TV stuff is on VUDU tho, and tho I'm with you on paying to see it without ads, I definitely also hate playing musical chairs from service to service to watch something or other, so I'll cross my fingers for a deal there soon!
