There's a quality that this mic adds to my voice that is just magical. Absolutely love it and considering another at this price. But is $999 still the regular price? This has been sitting at $800 on B&H for a while, not sure if that was also a sale price.
Also, looks like Amazon has price matched.

Update: Just did some price research - this mic was indeed $999 up until early November, but has been coming down ever since. This appears to be one of the lowest prices ever from a reputable source. I doubt this price will last long.

This might be a limited time deal for the end of the year. About this time last year B&H had it for sale at $800 and offered $50 B&H gift card with purchase, making it basically the same price as it is now. Doing a search shows it's been on sale a few times at this price, lowest was $650 but that was back in 2017.
Probably overkill for most people but if you've ever wanted one now is the time to buy.

Just realized that if you have a musician's friend (free) membership and get them to price match, you can also get 8% back in points, giving your $60 to spend on something else at a later date.
