These pixel prices are too high. Considering their depreciation values, they should be priced way below iPhones. iPhone prices have gotten too high as well. Especially the 16 is practically the same thing as the 15.

Good deal if you have a phone to trade-in which give extra $300 bonus. Got $530 for S24FE.

I am happy with my pixel 6 pro, and was thinking about getting 10 next year. But I was able to snag 9 pro xl open box for $626 - looks brand new, just without a box. I am in two minds about whether I should keep it. On one hand, my 6 pro is working fine and I can easily wait for pixel 10 pro xl next year. On the other, I think I should be able to get at least $626 worth of trade in for pixel 9 pro xl next year so I get to use this phone for "free" for 1 year. I would love some opinions!
When 10 gets release, you will get third mind. Either keep 6 pro or wait for 11. ,Smilie so anything you get today, always be less for tomorrow. Keep 9 pro and call it a day since most part it's a successful device of the year.

I concur about the 6pro being a good device. I did not get as much satisfaction from my 5 to 6pro upgrade as i did from my 7pro to 8pro upgrade. That being said i think the 9Pro is an excellent device and if you are getting it for that low of a price, upgrading to an 11 is a no brainer value wise the year after for pre-order/launch.

this year at launch the Pixel 9 pro XL was $1099 at launch. If you factor in the credits and bonuses a trade in of the google pixel 8pro was net -$9 for some people. That wasn't even the best deal! the best buy deal was even better.
if during the launch of the google pixel 10 pro it is anywhere near that good you are making out like a bandit.

S24 Ultra for $700 from Samsung EDU killed this deal.

Looks like deal is dead at Best Buy
Nope, still live.

But the bonus trade in values are only on previous Pixels, and the $849 sale price is only with Verizon or AT&T activation. Unactivated or Fi is $949, which is the same price as the Google store (which is offering better trade-in) So if you're activating, Best Buy is probably better, if you're not or you're going to activate on Fi or T-Mo or another carrier, then the Google store.

With a 128GB Pixel 8 Pro trade-in:

Best Buy (Activated) $849 - $630 = $219 + $35 activation + tax on $849

Best Buy (unactivated or Fi) - $949 - $630 = $319 + tax on $949

Google store (unactivated or Fi) - $949 - $699 = $250 + tax on $949 (you may still get hit with an activation charge from your carrier if you're adding a line or don't have a physical SIM you can swap from your current phone.)

The regular-sized Pro is $100 less with the same trade-in offers.

BestBuy jacked the price up $100 to match Google so the trade in deal is now dead. Don't be confused by the current numbers, it was $850 for unactivated and $750 for activated with Verizon or AT&T.

sucks that they came out with the pixel 9 pro which propelled them to overprice the pixel 9 pro XL. Feels like the XL would be a lot cheaper if it wasn't for the prixel 9 pro.

You obviously don't pay attention when the sales give these phones away then complain later cause you didn't get it then with mint mobile or one of the others. With all the deals typically for the phone portion you can usually get pixel 9 pro xl for like 600 bucks and sell whatever other phone you have to offset the price to usually within 100 bucks to upgrade and get an unlimited phone plan, done it every year so far. My trade in if I were to use is usually no less than I actually paid for the actual phone if I go that route.

Maybe you should..either way iPhone prices have declined, and agree that any new phone MSRP is way inflated.nsave a bundle a buy second hand or during true deals. This ain't it.

The only thing I still use pixel 8 or 9 phones is the camera, the major problems with those phones are:

face unlock is useless in low light, fingerprint unlock is useless unless you use a better quality screen protector or don't use one at all.

I won't pay over $400 for this.
Spoken like a true iPhone owner that has never used the pixel 9 phones
