I miss the previous generation with rubber overmolding to not slide.

The Ridgid batteries require a $35 delivery fee. All my other Home Depot deliveries have been free. No in-store pickup is available.
Sure, " free " delivery to your door is fantastic compared to driving to the store … but with fees being charged, people like the no extra cost option and you would think HD would like people coming through the door, and likely pickup other stuff.
And I just did an experiment - I tried changing the delivery zip code to cities that are next to mine and they all changed quantities available. There's only 1 HD store near us. Weird.

My Ridgid 8AH Max Output EXP that I got last year has a rubber pad at each of the four corners on the bottom. They grip the surface fairly well to keep it from sliding. The lower AH batteries seem to lack the rubber pads but Ridgid stepped it up for the 8AH.
