I had the same issue. I logged out, then back in again and it showed as free.

I wish EA or Microsoft would have emailed or somehow let subscribers know that this giveaway was available starting from yesterday. The only reason I know about this now is because of this deal post(and on day 2 of the giveaway after I've already missed the first game).

Yes. As long as you were an active member at the time of the promotion and can claim the free purchase, they will remain in your library.

Thanks, everyone! May finally grab one of the deals for GPU for these (including the Madden and NCAA football promos).

EDIT: Had a 14-day trial offer for $1 but when I tried to subscribe with that, it went back to full price. I've had that happen to me multiple times, so be sure to check what they charge you if you give that a try.

What I've found is that if you've ever used a free or $1 trial before they will still show you the offer but once you actually click on it and start to check out it will show you the full price.

Once they got past the first few months... this is the one of the best Star Wars video games ever. I still play it every once in a while when I want to immerse myself in the universe. I love playing the Prequil mode.

Are they going to continue to do this for the next few days? My subscription ended last month, but if I know there are 5-10 free games coming, it might be worth just paying for a month.
