This is a small pistol for a small price. I'm not sure what your definition of better is, but it does not hit harder, shoot farther, or hold more ammo than any other nerf gel blaster. If you're not sure your targets are ready to be shot by gel beads, this is probably a good test blaster.

I'm thinking mostly about usability. As in, is it easy to reload and relatively reliable in comparison to the blaster. The price point is essentially the same, so I figured I'd buy whichever ones will result in less requests for help from my kids.
