Price point looks good, but please go through critical(1 star) reviews. People complaining about it taking random characters as an input without being typed/pressed.

I got one for $10 to play around with. The layout is awful, don't know what they were thinking, everything on the row with the shift key is also shifted slightly left. Also the keys are already starting to go, lots of missed presses. Updating the firmware and using it wired is not helping either so I'm thinking it's just a bad product.

Mechanical keyboards can cause carpal tunnel syndrome.

Here is what AI says:

When considering carpal tunnel syndrome, a membrane keyboard is generally considered better than a mechanical keyboard because membrane keyboards typically require less force to press, which can reduce strain on your wrists and fingers; however, the key factor is proper ergonomics, so choosing an ergonomic keyboard design, regardless of the switch type, is crucial for preventing carpal tunnel syndrome. Why membrane keyboards might be better for carpal tunnel:

Lower actuation force:
Membrane keys require less pressure to register a key press, meaning less strain on your fingers.

Shorter key travel:
The shallower key depth on a membrane keyboard can minimize finger movement and reduce strain.

Potential issues with mechanical keyboards for carpal tunnel:
Higher profile:
Mechanical keyboards often have taller keys, which can put more strain on your wrist if not positioned properly.

Tactile feedback:
While appreciated by some, the strong tactile feedback from mechanical switches can lead to excessive finger pressure for some users.

Important considerations for preventing carpal tunnel:
  • Ergonomic design: Look for keyboards with a split design, adjustable tilt, and a comfortable wrist rest.
  • Proper posture: Maintain a neutral wrist position while typing.
  • Take breaks: Regularly pause your typing to stretch your hands and wrists.
why quote unreliable AI slop when there are actual users and cite-able,verifiable, credible sources?

Yes, for $10. I would buy it again at $17. It's extremely well built and it's a beautiful quality product. Mine came with brown switches and the backlit does not need software to go through the many different options. Can connect and cycle through 3 different Bluetooth devices very quickly. A must buy for me. I have one in the car and one in the house.
That $10 deal on the wireless model was goated 😎👍

I had one, the red switches one. Some keys started double typed at some point, I say maybe after a few months. Then it broke completely. The layout is garbage as well, I favor right shift key and my muscle memory kept pressing the wrong key.
I had one with brown switches. Same thing happened. Lasted a few months. Double typing, triple typing, not registering key presses at all. These look pretty, but they are junk.

I want one, but knowing that I wont be able to get used to the keys on the bottom right hand, I will pass on this.

The layout can get tricky especially if one is a person who types from memory of key placement.

That language model must have undergone some alignment from membrane keyboard manufacturers...

I had a 622 (wireless) with reds. Same experience. Switches started double/triple-typing and completely dying. Cooler Master sent a replacement, but I haven't touched it.

Also, the configuration software was awful.

I would not buy this at any price. I'm not even using the one I got for free.
