This game is far from incomplete, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
If you're into ARPG's...well, how have you not bought this already...but, regardless....at 2.50 its a complete steal and worth every cent.

If you like ARPGs and have not played this yet, as a person who enjoyed Diablo and PoE, this game is my favorite and I always go back to it. I consider it the spiritual successor to Diablo 2. For $2.50 it's a great deal for an excellent game with a very friendly community. And I recommend the 1st expansion if you enjoy the game. The 2nd expansion adds a bit more and a lot of endgame stuff but I would only suggest it after you've played the 1st expansion and you want more content. Very fun solo or with friends.

Does the recent update change gameplay / progression for the main game or just DLC's or certain modes? The notes make it sound like only non-campaign modes were targeted for the changes?
I tried the game for a few hours a year ago and felt it was like a polished Titan's Quest but lacking any of the charm or compelling gameplay. (for my tastes). I really wanted to like the game though.
Edit: playing now. I do think they have tweaked some things in the base game. Actually really dislike the entire Steam Controller config, I know they meant well and great to seem Dev's adding layouts that work on the Steam Deck however I think the layout is odd and doesn't work for a lot of stuff. It is just a simple toggle though to have the game treat the Steam Deck (or other Steam Controller) as a normal gamepad, which just makes it act like a Xbox controller.
