Great show and as a retired doc (despite the backwards xray trademark) I found this to be one of the more realistic medical shows.

Remember, the 9th season is a lie...
Also remember that because this is digital, probably has some of the replacement music that's different from the original and discs because of streaming rights after the show was created.

Amazing show and good price. Unfortunately, the music was so iconic and tied seamlessly into the show that it really changes the whole experience to not have the original soundtracks.

They actually mock that in the commentary. I was laid up after a bad car wreck on meds so I watched it with the commentary on. It was even better because then you find out that they spent a full day coming a different intro where they blur move around plus fixed the X-ray only to have it used like once because network hated it.

As a former EMT who spent some time working in EDs I have to agree. Especially the way most admins are "what has two thumbs and doesn't give a crap? Hi! Bob Kelso. Tah tah." and yes the nurses especially the seasoned ones are the ones who get shit done so keep them happy and follow their lead.

I actually just picked this up on DVD at a garage sale this summer but if you haven't watched it, it's awesome. Well, except like the last season or two. Oh and it will make you cry too... Because that's what medical does to you.

Now you'll have to excuse me because I'm playing with my KnifeWreeeeeench

I actually liked the last season because they started giving Cox a bit of his edge back. That whole season really wasn't supposed to exist though, but when the network offered a renewal they tried to slap something together quickly to keep the 100ish people who worked on the show employed.
