Check your area for restaurants on the app first before you buy it.

Other than that I've used inKind several times now and have saved a fair bit of money by paying with them instead of cash/card. It's fairly easy to use as well. You get the check when you're done eating, type the order number from the check into the inKind app and everything should come right up on the app.

I went recently and paid for my meal with the app, left a cash tip on the table. When the waitress returned she said saw I had paid on her little tablet thing.

Like I said, as long as you have restaurants in your area that you actually like to eat at and you can use the gift cards naturally, it's fairly a no brainer decision.

Someone said screw it, we're not going to do this like every other website in the world...we're going to create our own locations experience. And someone else signed off on this turd of an implementation.

Only one place in MN and it is a coffee shop 1.5 hours away from MPLS. So glad I checked before buying!

How does it work? Whats with the $50 bonus? Their website says spend $250 to get $300 with $50 bonus. So how does this GC work along with $50 bonus offer? Let's say I do find a participating location and the bill comes out to be $80 or even $140. Their website is bogus and Costco website makes it hard to find a participating location near you.

Seems to be impossible to give this to somebody as a gift card. They need to dick around with an app instead of just getting a gift card.

Yes I have done that. You can use Amex gold rest credit for adding 50$ to the Inkind cash or when you use Amex gold to pay for the tips in these restaurants.
