This is one of the latest weird kind of Amazon promotion. The coupon applies to many different items. It can be used multiple times, but with decreasing benefits. The first time you use it, it's 40%. The second time, it's 30%, etc. So, be sure you don't want anything much more expensive before you use your highest discount on a $1.50 item!
