Yes but now the post is going stagnant again when my post was taking off. So net loss for everyone. I mean there was several weeks with no activity and some very minor activity (basically dead) right before my post. I guess this offer from TurboTax is destined for the graveyard when it should have exploded by now.

I can confirm that it allowed me to upgrade to premium for stocks and rental property and add two states for free. I went all the way to the point where it is asking for last year's AGI and signatures with no indication that it is going to charge me for e-file. But I have not filed yet.

It looks like you don't even need to file in the app. All you have to do is start the return in the app and proceed to checkout in Step 1 under the "File" tab. After completing this step and confirming that everything (including the Premium upgrade and two states) was free, it seems to unlock everything in the desktop browser. Previously, the desktop browser version would scold me for not using the app and threatened to charge me.
I have a strong feeling that these are the only steps that need to be completed before February 18th, but I won't know for sure until after the deadline.

Someone said that you have to check out and get an order confirmation showing the 0$. I started on the app then went on browser. I see the cart showing 0$ but I don't see any checkout button. Can you see if you have it different?

I just checked Robhinhood and they don't even release tax documents until 2/18. Last year it was first week of Feb. Hate RH. Glad I transferred from them but still need to make sure I get my tax docs.
