Note that carbon fiber PLA wrecks nozzles, even hardened ones due to how abrasive it is. It also tends to leave Carbon Fiber residue on stuff which can be dangerous to inhale.

I recommend avoiding it unless you specifically need the filament for its toughness (not strength, it's weaker than regular PLA).

Yea in this case its better just to use matte pla, especially if its just for looks. If someone wants strength (without getting into nylon, abs, etc) carbon fiber PETG is a better option.

Carbon fiber PLA is weaker than regular PLA. It's been tested to exhaustion on YouTube. It does not wear out hardened nozzles quickly and I've never once dealt with dust nor have ever heard anyone complain about dust. I seriously don't know where you get your info.

It's two 1kg spools (+ the 1kg spool of CF). I'd imagine you would be fine, but I only have 1st hand experience with the regular AMS

When they had a similar deal around BF with PLA, the shipper damaged the rolls and they automatically refunded my money instead of actually sending out a new rolls. 🤪

2 spools, 1kg each. Yes this brand fits the AMS lite in my experience.

Same happened to me. Something fishy about it. But got the single roll for $8 after the refund for the other two.

It does wear out hardened nozzles quickly, it's just hard to see the difference when a 0.4mm nozzle becomes a 0.5mm with your naked eye.

Regarding carbon fiber dust - you can see the reddit thread here - https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/..._filament/

this reddit thread has a post a couple replies down explaining why it's nothing to worry about. tl;dr: it doesn't split lengthwise like asbestos, and the body can break stray carbon fiber down

There was a YouTube video where they used a microscope to prove that it was leaving tiny carbon fiber strands all over and on your skin.
