If you are able to find it, that is a substantially better laptop for the extra $250. It is about on par with the latest m4 base chip in terms of performance with a more powerful gpu and it comes with 18GB RAM. So I would say it is a better buy than the $1400 m4 macbook for the money in most use cases.
