Here's another trick I used to save a few bucks on taxes: Go ahead and update your profile to a state that doesn't collect taxes (like Delaware or Oregon). Then, update your preferred theater to that city. When you renew or upgrade your membership, you won't see any tax. You can pay with your regular credit card, and you won't have to worry about the tax being added to your subscription! I hope this helps someone out there!

Seems to be the case with me as well. After checkout it said 2026. But on my amc profile, says 2027

Has anyone confirmed you can do more than once? I got the 2 years a couple of hours ago. Can we do again making a total of 4 years for the price of 2?

I just renewed and it showed new expiration as Mar 2026. I canceled my auto renewal and it gave me a year extra. Now the expiration says Mar 2027.

I did this and got 4 years now. This mostly might be a display error but well, worth the risk I guess as the price is going up anyways.

My membership expired like a month ago. Only went to the theater once to watch Ghostbusters. I used to watch movies a lot before covid. Nowadays just wait for digital. They come out pretty quick.

Yes, I saw the 1 year renewal. I did not cancel. And after checking back, it gave 2 years for next billing date.

Thanks! This worked for me. I initially only saw 1 year. When I checked again, it was 2 years. Out of curiosity, I canceled the auto renew, and my membership remained at 2 years.

If you're wondering if you can do it 3 times, the answer is YES! Just did it and now mine expires in 2031 (initially 2025). As a reminder, after each payment you will only see 1 year added. Wait 20+ minutes or click "Cancel Auto Renewal" to get the new expiration date updated.

Only added a year at first. I previously had "next billing date" as Jan 31, 2027. Now it's Jan 31, 2028.

BUT THEN:
I hit the "cancel your membership" button and you'll see the new date pop up there. Moved out to Jan 31, 2029. So 2 years for $15
