This brings back memories how 10-15 years ago Staples frequently gave back 100% in rewards on Duracell batteries. I got more than I could use and put them in a box thinking I'm covered for years because most of the batteries had dates 5-10 years in the future. I used a few packages. Unfortunately well before the date printed on each sealed package, every package of Duracells leaked. I lost a couple dozen packages of unused batteries. I considered seeing if I could get replacements from Duracell even though I only paid tax for them. Instead I decided to take it as a lesson never to buy another Duracell battery. Later I bought some Kirkland batteries and they leaked. Then I found out they were Duracell so no more Kirklands either. By contrast I've had very few Energizers leak. Guess which brand I buy now?
So unless you use your Duracell batteries very quickly, I wouldn't bother.

All of the Staples stores around me having closed and gone out of business really kills it.

I feel dumb. How does tax kill it? Still seems like a good deal to me.

anyone knows what would happen if I use 10 off 30 in store coupon? would I still get the $50? I plan on spending $60.
AS long as the spend in Cash or GC is $50, yes.

If I use rewards points though its not like cash equivalent like GC cash or credit card, but its not like coupon and any clarity on this with experts?
Rewards are coupons, and are deducted from the total "calc".

So buy $50 worth, but use $20 in rewards, you get 100% rewards back on $30.

Prices in my store are about 25% higher than the Staples.com Pickup In Store price.

I just bought a $100 Staples E-gift card for $90 from this website using 'LMGIFTS' promo code:

https://www.giftcards.com/us/en/c...-gift-card

And I'm going to use that $100 gift card to purchase $50 worth of Duracell batteries at my local Staples here in Rhode Island this week (before the 12/28 deadline for this offer)

The 10% discount off the Staples gift card will more than offset my 7% sales tax and I'll essentially get these batteries completely free! 😅 What an amazing deal! Thanks OP!!😁🥳

Do the offers stack? I have 25% back in store on duracell batteries and the 100% back on all batteries
No offers do not stack.

The offer said in store only. Does it work for online delivery purchases? What about online order pickup in store?

anyone compile a list of stores to PM these batteries to? I know home depot had them much cheaper than the inflated staples prices.

I went to account offer page, it only shown up Duracell battery photos, but tiny words and title said All batteries and not mention any "Duracell"

Don't know if other brands work for this offer? so we can skip the leaking brand....
also, it said all batteries, so not limited any model or pack, even button battery ok?

thanks

Are the prices of these batteries overpriced?
