Nintendo eShop has Ace Attorney Games (Nintendo Switch Digital Download) on sale from $9.99.

Thanks to Deal Hunter doublehelixx for finding this deal.

Available Titles: About these Games:
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy
    • The classic courtroom adventure series that has sold over 6.7 million copies worldwide is finally here. Become Phoenix Wright and experience the thrill of battle as you fight to save your innocent clients in a court of law. Play all 14 episodes, spanning the first three games, in one gorgeous collection. Solve the intriguing mysteries behind each case and witness the final truth for yourself!
  • The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
    • Immerse yourself in a dramatic yet charming and witty world of evidence-gathering, deduction and courtroom battles with this double-pack of the adventures of rookie lawyer Ryunosuke.
    • Set in late 19th century Japan and England, each title features five murder-mystery episodes filled with all the drama, laughs, twists, and "turnabouts" you've come to expect from the legally labyrinthine legacy of Ace Attorney. Join Ryunosuke Naruhodo, ancestor of series mainstay Phoenix Wright, as he attempts to uncover the secrets behind an international criminal conspiracy and solve a hauntingly baffling cold case, while tackling a series of tricky trials along the way. Dozens of hours of attorney action awaits you!
    • In the course of each case, you'll speak to witnesses, examine evidence and clues, and attempt to deduce the dastardly intent behind the crime before proceeding to the courtroom. In court, you will hear testimonies, cross-examine witnesses, and present evidence. And of course, it wouldn't be an Ace Attorney game if you couldn't shout "OBJECTION!" when you know you've got the facts and evidence needed to contradict the prosecution's claims and prove your client's innocence.
    • The game includes a convenient assistance feature in case you hit a dead end in your investigation, so even if this is your first Ace Attorney game, you can get into your amateur sleuthing adventures with ease! Will you be able to crack these clever cases? The game is afoot!

my 2 cents, absolutely spectacular
the gameplay is simple, but the writing is superb, some of the smartest written crime plots with high consistency in quality
the sale is for two trilogies, there are other trilogies & duologies in this universe as well, all worth playing in my opinion
each trilogy has dozens of hours of content (the great ace attorney chronicles is the worst of the bunch, but still quite good)

I had fun with them, you'll like it if you like mystery puzzle games. The Ace Attorney series are also well known for the name puns.

If you've never played them, I definitely recommend them. It's been one of my favorite series for a long time now and they have a lot of charm.

yeah, it sucks but they're still soaking us for ace attorney investigations with Miles Wright and the new Apollo Justice game. But these two are a good price and similar/better prices on steam right now

Agreed, I would get these if I didn't already have them on Steam. They're great games to play on the go.

The game is on phone too. I think this (type of) game is best played on handhelds or phones: you will need to read/skip lots of text and barely any action; also, some activities (finding clues) are easier on touchscreen > mouse > controller.

Yes, like the above poster said, these are visual novel games. Big on story (and reading), with really fun and goofy characters. Really fun and I'd highly recommend them, especially at this price point!

A few caveats:
- Sometimes the game forces you to present evidence in a certain order, even if you've personally figured things out beyond the current clue and want to 'jump ahead.' You won't be able to proceed until you present the evidence piece the game wants to see. A very minor gripe -- you get used to it quickly. Also, sometimes the clues are super weird, so don't feel guilty about looking something up, lol.
- Some of the stories are pretty "padded" to make them longer. Lots of people don't mind this, but just a heads up.
- Someone up above said the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (TGAA) are the 'worst,' but I'd argue they are some of the best stories (even though they also have some of the most obvious 'padding'). Unlike the Ace Attorney games, the two TGAA were written in tandem, so the second game continues all the unfinished mystery plot points from the first one seamlessly. And BOY are the story lines absolutely nuts!! I was totally riveted, my jaw was on the floor near the end. There's a bunch of good "quality of life" improvements for gameplay in TGAA as well (e.g. the dialogue is recorded in a 'court transcript' you can easily go back and review; there's a better hint system, etc) and the animations are much better.

I'm playing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles featuring Herlock Sholmes and it is fantastic, and my only gripe is the annoying clown music when the 10 year old Sholmes assistant is being clownish, it's somewhat hard to bear. Bring on the sale for Ace Attorney Investigations!!!!

Fantastic post, I am a big fan of Phoenix Wright and played these on the DS. Looking forward to the HD remakes.

I was gonna pass on TGAA but you sold me on these!

This is a good price but no need to buy now if you're not ready to play it yet. It goes on sale for this price more often than not.
