how are single quarts at 3.55 a better deal than a 5 Quart jug at 11 and change? uh?

Picking up 2 jugs of 5W-20 for my car. And yes... you can use truck and SUV oil in your passenger car as long as it is the same viscosity as what your car requires. Truck & SUV oil is basically the same, but has slightly different additives to reduce the breakdown of the oil in severe use, like towing.

If you do a quick search in Slickdeals, you will see that 10 quarts of Kirkland oil is $32 when they go on sale. They are currently not on sale.

Sure, buying five 1-quart bottles isn't as cheap as the main deal, but it's still a pretty good price for a quart and everyone should rep that guy and give his post a positive.

Damn, they cancelled my orders for being OOS on some drain plug gaskets I threw in. Now to reorder it has gone from 11 to 19. Bastards!

They're just closing some stores, not going bankrupt.

The cancellations are because these are clearance products with very limited supply and stores' inventory counts are frequently off and/or they are being concurrently sold in-store.

Same here, 19.45. Signed up for Speedy Rewards and had problems. They raised my reward to $10, had more problems so they raised reward to $20.
