With the keyboard it is pretty heavy and I think it's 3.3lbs? (someone corrected it to 2.7lb) that's basically same as most ultrabooks 13-14" now.

If you need a keyboard - get a laptop

If you need a tablet, get an iPad

If you want to half Tablet and half Laptop but not great at both than this is a good device (but please do check the apps and run them all to be sure)

I have a Surface Pro 7. I have loved it for several years. It could be time to upgrade.

This is so tempting, especially if it was available in blue. I have the Surface Pro X since a little after launch which has been excellent and is still running strong though…need an excuse to upgrade haha

Surface Pro 9 (processor) vs surface Pro 11 (ARM).

Any reason why we should consider one vs the other?

This is the answer. It's all good with these Snapdragon machines until you can't do something.

I have been running a Surface Pro X for several years along with other Surface Pro's. Yesterday I went to Best Buy and bought the Surface Pro 11 with the Snapdragon X Plus CPU. After getting all the updates done, I ran it through a bunch of things I usually do and was very disappointed. It was faster in most respects, but only a very little bit. The extra size and weight was the final deal-killer. I did a system reset and put it back in the box, it's going back to Best Buy today. My SP X has the SQ2, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It still has fabulous battery life, and does everything I need very well. Newer and shinier isn't necessarily the best thing. Save yourself some trouble and wait for the Surface Pro 12?

2.7 lbs with keyboard,

Personally, I really like this form factor even when using it as a laptop, though I may be in the minority. I love that the heat is moved away from my lap.

Another SPX owner here. I love my SPX, it's a fantastic device. I really want one of these new ones, but after playing with one in the store, I agree. The SPX was the perfect form factor. This thing is just *slightly* thicker and heavier, but just enough to be annoying. It's clear that they simply retrofitted these new ARM machines into the existing last-gen Surface Pro chasis, which was built initially for Intel CPUs. I'm going to wait for the next gen and hopefully they will shrink things back down a bit.
