Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8S Z lens. The holy grail of normal lenses if you're shooting on Nikon Z.

Nikon Refurbished had these on Friday, but they disappeared (sold out probably), looks like they restocked today.

$1249 seems like a deal since the lens in around $2k new with an MSRP of $2499 (sells for around $2k most of the time now). Wider range and sharper than the Nikon branded Tamron made 28-70mm f/2.8 and only $250 more than the better Tamron G2 version of that lens. Should be able to resell without losing much if you don't like this Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S

Not sure how many they have, but currently showing in-stock

Bruh... did they really name this "NIKKOR?"

LOL
They've always used "Nikkor" in the name of the lenses. No idea why.

Smokin deal on this lens. I literally just bought the 24-120 z lens 3 months ago else I would be all over this deal.

If my credit card is not already going to be hard to pay completely off this month, I would definitely jump on this deal.

It's a great deal but I think the reason heavy f2.8 zooms are less popular is there are great f/4 lenses available and AI denoise has gotten so good that you can get away with slower lenses in low light.

I've got both versions. The f4 version is indeed a very nice lens. Most people could get by with it. You can buy them used for $400. The f2. 8 is a better lens but, the value of the difference is up to what you'll use it for and how important the difference is to you. That being said at this price it's a no brainer. Go with the F2, 8 version.

All 2.8 lenses are expensive. This price is not. Guy you live in an age when $100 gets you one bag of groceries. The 24-70 2.8 has been this price for 15 years or more. That was when a dollar was worth 4 times more then today.

Well, I don't think the denoise has anything to do with why people are getting the F4 vs the F2.8. I really the first thing is price. The F4 is so much cheaper. Then there's weight, the F4 is much lighter. I, on the other hand, have the Z 24-70mm F2.8 S for it's quality. The glass in the F2.8 is better, which makes the lens heavier. I call these lenses studd lenses and that's all I own for the quality of the glass and lens.

This deal kills me. I thought I got a good deal getting it at $1450 refurbished two weeks ago and now I see this. No price protection from what I can tell, and not from my credit card either.
