How would this run on my laptop? I5, 16gb Ram, RTX 3050 6gb. Would it over heat it?

It is a Rockstar Games Launcher key, so you would have to download that launcher and activate the key there.

It makes most laptops do that. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation by using a metal stand or book, and try and research disabling turbo boost on your CPU

Don't disable turbo boost if your laptop has the option. If you're gaming and it's plugged in, you want it on.

I turned off turbo boost on my cpu otherwise it hits 90s, with it off it runs much cooler with no noticeable FPS hit using afterburner. Any reason i would leave it on?

I would really like to know as well. I have stopped gaming on it completely for the past few months. Which is bad, since that is one of the main reasons I bought it.

for overheating, they now sell laptop stands that have fans on them. I used them on my laptop otherwise it would not be able to run games on it. with the fan i could play the game no problem. without it, it would overheat and crash within 5 minutes.

This game (Online Version RDO) was the one I played and enjoyed during Covid-19, but it is dead now with minimum to no further support and development from Rockstar. I stopped playing it for years.

Now with some MENU (cheat add-ons) you can play it for fun, griefing and killing other players...LOL but I don't do so. Oh well, it was full of fun once.
