You would need an adapter to get it to work on Switch. There are plenty of options on the market but if you care about input lag don't go for the cheapest one you see.
I have an 8bitdo Arcade Stick and Mayflash F300 and they both work without issue on my Switch. They're also significantly less expensive, even after factoring in the cost of upgrading the levers and buttons with Sanwa (not necessary, but a nice upgrade)
