warning; triple check this exact part number is approved for your cpu and mobo combination on the mobo makers website. do NOT buy these simply because the timing makes sense according to PCPartPicker. i made that same mistake and had to return silicon power DDR5 6000 2x16 ram for similar timing but from g.skill costing $30 more.

amazon often mistakenly claims ram is AMD Expo AND Intel XMP when in fact it's one or the other, not both. look at reviews and you will often find complaints about this fact.

if this ram does in fact work for your mobo:cpu remember to enable Expo or XMP in your bios, as it won't be active by default and can often make the difference between the same ram running at 4800 speed versus the full 6000 speed you paid for. it's not just for over clocking but for correct default timing & voltage running as well.

This is pretty solid RAM. It's CAS32 but is 6000 so that's great. Has support for EXPO and XMP so you really can't go wrong with these.

This looks like a good deal on some well reviewed (Amazon Listing) memory with good timings. I plan to see if it can run CAS 30 when I get a motherboard but even at CAS 32 this is a pretty good deal if you don't care about RGB.

Beats best prices I've seen in Newegg by $20ish bucks. Pulled trigger on these. Thanks OP.

Looks like a solid deal. Even if it is cl32, it can probably do cl30 as a Hynix stick.

While I agree with you, I ordered Corsair cl30 by mistake off eBay that was XMP and it works perfect and even turned on expo since I have a AMD B650 mobo. I know this an exception to the rule (though the ram I got WAS on the list of the pcpartpicker fwiw)

$10 more gets you 6000 CL30 from various places.

Example Teamgroup T-Create Expert on Amazon which is very highly rated.

If every dollar counts this is a good price, but I would spend the extra $10 and get something guaranteed CL30 personally.

People spend $500 on a cpu and $750+ on a gpu but then need to save $21 on RAM? SD is hilarious sometimes.

I had the same issue with SiliconPower RAM in n an AMD system. As far as I can tell, the compatibility issue is primarily with them.

The people spending $500 on a CPU probably are not buying this. I just spent $380 on a CPU and am not buying this. But if I were building a budget gaming system, I'd totally be interested in this! 21 bucks is 21 bucks. I was happy to just have shaved $20 off a $300 pcie gen5 SSD for my new build. And if I can get $20 off the RTX5090 when it comes out, you bet I'd like that $20!

If my motherboard can only handle 5600, is the following a better option since it has lower CL? TIA.

FWIW, there was a review of this particular ram, including identifying the ICs. Lexar had used Sk Hynix A-die on the set tested. Being that Lexar could change suppliers you can not guarantee that the revision/version being sold at Woot is the same, but it is worth mentioning.

be careful running XMP with the intel i5. Intel won't confirm but many forums have people complaining running xmp fried their chip and although I cannot confirm it specifically fried mine, it did happen to mine earlier this year and had to RMA with intel.
