Stay away from this. This is a terrible boom arm. The cable is on a tension that really breaks easily with just one time use. This is a direct result of the strong tension that wants to keep the boom arm straight and not able to bend as it is intended to.

After reading the reviews, people had problems supporting quality mics, like the SM7B. Apparently, a lot of adjustments need to be made. Do the adjustments stay in place? I would assume so. I'll buy and return if it's a dud. Nice looking though 👌

Thanks, purchased. $10 more than the terrible mount I purchased a few years ago back that I have bent / re-bent repeatedly to get it to stay in place (and still droops with the blue yeti).

I use this with an SM7B and RE20. With the SM7B you need a little extension to get it to mount correctly. Other than that it works fine. At this price it's a great deal. If it were full price, I'd probably go with a Rode PSA1

I've had two of these. The screw caps are plastic and they break after a while. It's quality, but the finishing on it isn't. That being said, I'm still using it, but know that it might not last as long as other options.

What (in this case) is a screw cap?
Functional, or, Decorative?

Thanks. What extension are you referring to?

Solid arm. I bought it a few years ago for 89. Well worth it over the other basic arms. Buy once and forget it. Holds the big blue mic dampener too!

In for one. I've got a smaller mic (Mackie 89D) so this will work great for me.

I have mine on a floor stand currently but last year I upgraded to a sit-stand desk, which was my main reason to upgrade.

Even at $30, seems overpriced.
