I'm a solo player and have been since launch, it's amazing. You don't need friends and the community is great. Randoms will work together and there isn't any griefing to speak of.

Pretty fun, if you like the movies Terminator, Starship Troopers 1, and/or War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise), you'll like the game.

The CD keys have been around this price for months, not really anything new or slick.

good pick up. just picked it up and played my first game with strangers. Community was very welcoming to new players and showed me the ropes on first few missions

I have family I play with half the time, the other half the time it's with 'randos', only 1 out of 50 matches did I get a griefer, which I think is a decent ratio, but this is one of very few titles that I play multiplayer (normally I avoid non single player titles at all costs, this has been a fun exception)

For whoever might be interested, at the Houston area Walmart Supercenters, I have seen this game, "Helldivers 2" in PS5 physical disc on sale for $30 only. I have been at 3 different stores recently (01/01/2025) and it's on sale at that price in all of them. This doesn't show up for Walmart online, there the price is $39.
