The post probably was posted by an EPIC game employee to gain attractions. It was supposed to be free on 12/25, but they are charging $2.99 instead. Greedy bastard.

Hmmm... I was wondering. Saw that post yesterday but now only find Control (which I already had from previous freebie). Stick Out Tongue You'd think Epic would offer something better for free on the 25th rather than a dupe... but still a good game for people that haven't tried it.

Thank you for posting this. I thought maybe I missed it. Oh well.

I think the less disingenuous thing would have been to mark it expired and put a post on it by Slickdealo, the staff member who posted it that it was a mistake. Mistakes happen. You can't just delete things on the internet.

But it wasn't just in Slickdeals ... Similar on reddit. Also. I know from here I clicked the link and say it in epic games with a countdown saying it was available in 10 hours. So it changed on the epic side.
