I just got Walmart 199 delivered today, seems decent, not very bassy, I do like the Chromecast integration so I can cast my Sirius, Spotify, etc to it. And the built in Iheart stations to choose from just for music. But other than that nothing special about it

This pos didn't work out of the box, got stuck in supposed update although it was not yet even connected to anything
Wasted more than 1 hour with bose support, they could only offer to send it for troubleshooting
It went back to Walmart

The Bose Soundbars have quality sound buy the technology is awful. I've had 3 (with a refurbished #4 Ultra on the way from Bose). Constant interference, sound disruptions, lagging and software updates which don't fix issues and often cause new issues (including locking all functionality). If I were to do it again I'd go Samsung or Sonos for wireless in my entertaining areas and quality wired speakers in basement /theatre room. Bose small SoundLink speakers are ok - but BEWARE of their soundbars. Been a $2500 Mistake for me

Got the Walmart deal, added a different sub easily. You need a 3.5mm to mono rca summing converter. It joins the stereo signal into a mono

I picked up the new one from Walmart and came today as well. It's for my bedroom, and hooked up to TV via ARC so no wireless issues. Did use airplay with Apple music and that was great also. Was setup in a matter of minutes. I think it sounds great for that space. Sure, could use more bass. Any soundbar without a sub will sound that way, it's no fault of this bar.

Seriously debating another now and grabbing the Klipsch 12" sub for $150 I saw at Costco and a 3.5 conversion cable for the living room also.

I bought the Walmart one. So far it works great. But, I registered it on the Bose website, it doesn't have any manufacturer's warranty. Just a heads up for anyone else buying from that promotion.
