So, I'd say this a really good deal.
As always, it depends on what your laptop use case is, but for a general use laptop, the specs are hard to beat
17.3" IPS Touchscreen that folks seem to really like
Easily Expandable -- RAM to 64GB
13700H is efficient and still quite fast w/ good single/multi speed*
Nice design especially if you still dig the original "MacBook Pro" look
Other retailers with higher prices have loads of reviews (4.8 across 1000+ reviews ar one site). Wasn't looking, but the HP Envy I am on now may get a big brother with this deal.

When the laptop manufacturer lists a maximum RAM number, generally that's either the maximum they offer for that model, or the maximum they've tested.

I love the diy mentality.
Some people say a car battery last longer. I saw some diy from a car battery into a psu with power outlets.

Thoughts?
Edit: I don't live near a Micro Center store. I'm looking for something that can handle light office/work stuff, run a Cricut machine/software… maybe run a game other than Solitaire.
