What's wrong with Newegg?
I stopped using Newegg when their return policy was to wait for it to arrive and check out before sending the replacement. Also, occasional restocking fees. Even if they've changed those policies, thanks, I'll stick with Amazon.

Newegg used to be great many years ago until they got bought out. I used to buy all my PC parts from them. Now it seems they try very hard to not stand behind anything. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there from tech reviewers, swearing off Newegg.

Lots of people complain of not-so-sharp OLED screens which are typically OLED touch screens (this laptop) combined with a lower resolution panel (this laptop). This is due to the digitizer layer causing issues with the lower PPI screens, including screen door effect and fuzzy text.

I don't suppose Newegg is so easy on returns if you don't like it.

Where are all the cool kids buying from nowadays?

(I used to buy a lot pre-sale from Newegg)

This one or the Vivobook S 14 at Best Buy?
Vivobook, easily. First, it's new, not refurbed. Second, the Vivobook has the latest Ultra Series 2 CPU. Third, not a touch screen so display should look good (3K screen would be better). Lastly, BestBuy return policy is way nicer.

Compared to the refurb Lenovo which has 32GB RAM, the ASUS only has 16GB, which is fine for most people. SSD is smaller (but upgradable) in the ASUS also.

I would probably be in on this SD if it weren't for the touch part. It's not that it's a feature I would not ever use, rather due to that digitizer layer they add to the screen that is invisible to a lot of people, but not me.

The eBay listing states that they're restocking fees, but when I search for restocking feed avoidance, AI says that eBay does not allow restocking fees, I pulled the trigger, any updates on how this works with avoidance of the restocking fees?

Another point to consider is that Lenovo generally offers better build quality compared to ASUS. I've seen complaints on Best Buy's Vivobook unit having issues with lid bowing.

Bought this model from Costco for $800 two weeks ago. I liked all the features and portability since I'm carrying a work laptop and this one for grad school in my backpack. I'll return Costco one if there is nothing wrong with referbished with $250 saving.

The two-year Costo warranty is worth something.
