Got these the last time this deal came up.

They break and chip very easily. Broke first day.

I suggest getting something better than this. Still have a second $3 set I'm returning.

Look inside the box and register for a free replacement. When it breaks, just go online and they will send you another pack for free.

I've been using this brand for years. They are decent protectors. The only way you're gonna get "chipped edges" and "broke the first day" is if you drop or are careless putting your phone down. They do not break and chip by themselves. They may break easier than some, but they protected your phone when you dropped it. The screen protector did its job! Don't expect a 2-3 dollar protector to be indestructible.

I've been using this brand seemingly forever. Works well. BUT DO NOT USE THE CAMERA PROTECTORS IF YOU SHOOT RAW.

Sorry for the all caps but it's a big deal - the camera protection seems to impede capturing correct metadata, and RAW to JPEG conversions come out VERY dark and essentially unusable.

I've been using this brand for years and years on various iPhone models, including 8, 12, and 15 for myself and family. No problems. Sure they get cracked here and there, and after many months may have a chip around the edge or two, but that's no concern. I barely notice and cheap to replace.
Never had issues with rainbows or degraded light or responsiveness at all. Nearly all the time, I completely forget I have it on except when a crack makes itself known. I just replaced one after about 18 months due to chipped edges and only THEN discovered it had several cracks all across - which I never noticed!
And sure, these cracks might not have happened to the very resilient iPhone native glass. But do I want to risk a permanent scratch when I could, for very cheap, scratch an overlay instead and essentially get a "whole new screen?" Nope! I'll take the protector.

These are absolute garbage. I got these last time and used them for my family's new 16's. (Used 4) I followed the directions to a T and all four have areas that have lifted around the edges. One has cracked. (Weird since there was no known impact) 2 phones have had their camera covers completely fall off.
These phone were all brand new and like I said I did the install exactly how the instructions said.

The kits looked good, everything seemed like these were going to be great but they suck.

Agreed. It's also protecting the oleophobic (oil-repellent) coating that it's impossible to replenish or replace on the original. It absolutely wears off with usage.

Sure the coating on these protectors aren't the best (the more expensive protectors do have better coatings in my experience) but at least I can easily replace it.
100% agree. For resale purposes, having a case and decent screen protector is a must.

Upgraded my GF from a S23 to Pixel 9 (both phones from Mint Mobile deals). I am in the process of selling her S23 currently, and will get about what she paid for it over a year ago, $300. The screen and phone look 100% new since they lived in a case and screen protector. I did the same thing with our last 2 phones and had no issues selling them for maximum value.

We have these amfilms on our new Pixel 9's and they seem durable and were very easy to apply. The plastic guide that these come with makes application a breeze. Much better than the old days and trying to line them up.

For 3 bucks, 100% worth it to add some protection to your phone.

I used them on 4 brand new phones and they have all had issues. Cracks for no reason, 2 lost the camera covers and all have issues adhering around the edges. Worst I've ever used.

Exactly. That was exactly what I experienced on the 4 I installed. Garbage
Must be a shill post otherwise there wouldn't be so many defending these and saying they are great. When 4 out of 4 fail it's pretty clear they are junk.

I buy these cheap brands all the time no issues. Even the expensive ones, if you keep keys against them it will chip or crack them. I buy alot on sale and don't even bother with warranty. If I buy 3-4 packs that lasts the 3-5 years of the phone.

What would you recommend as better? Hard to know if there's a ranking, seeing that Amazons rankings are easily gamed. 😓
