just had my samsung m7 32 smart monitor turn off and not wanting to turn back on some black screen of death scenario. the usual trobule shooting and disconnecting plus this trick and that trick... to no avail. would contact samsung but it might be better getting another monitor. not sure this one is to the M7 level but maybe add extended warranty this time whether this or LG... or some cheap unit on amazon and add ext warranty. not happy with samsung right now.... 2 years and it died or drama.

How was that monitor overall besides the crashing? I was looking at getting that one. Might hold off now.

It depends on the application but IPS panels are generally preferred.

Why is it preferred? Doesn't a VA panel have better contrast?
