Since it wasn't posted in the OP:
RP is 26mp full frame camera.
R10 is 24mp APS-C camera.
I bought this instead of Nikon z6 since this price for a full frame is a steal. For the price, I will ignore the lower dynamic range of Canon vs Nikon/Sony.

I do suggest buying the 2 lens R100 kit for $100 more ($399)

The RP has a very old sensor, likely developed at the same time as the 5D III's, i.e. about 12 years ago. When they launched this sensor (c. 6-7 years ago in the 6D Mark II), people were astonished that Canon would start manufacturing a sensor that was clearly a generation behind even for them.
This camera will still take beautiful images. It just has Dynamic Range from over a decade ago (your phone will outclass its DR any day), and an AF system that's also a decade behind the curve.
If you can, wait for a refurb deal on the R8. It'll be $800 soon. That camera is a whole decade ahead of the RP!
I would even go so far as to say, this is a bad deal. I'm actually surprised Canon didn't clear their RP stock out completely two years ago at $500 when the R8 came out. This is ancient tech with very poor DR and AF.
Not everyone needs the latest greatest and do Pro work. If you know what you're doing this can still take amazing pics!
