I just picked up my order and noticed my Walgreens has an entire aisle (both sides) of holiday merchandise at 50% off. Lots of chocolate and candy, also Hallmark ornaments, wrapping paper, some toys, other miscellaneous. If you have a Walgreens nearby, I think it's worth taking a look. HUGE assortment of higher-end chocolates for 50% off at my local store (Godiva, Ghiradelli, Ferrero Rocher and more).

Its amazing to see the real cost of godiva in the US, in which all of their retail locations are now gone. In asia, they position themselves as a high end luxury brand selling for US$100 for a box of 30 pcs chocolates.

Asked the wife if she wanted a few boxes from the local store. Surprisingly, she declined. I asked why. She replied that Godiva chocolates have been tested to be high in heavy metals like cadmium and lead.
