I have used these in the past to extend a current subscription. From Quicken you can go to Help > Manage Your Subscription > Enter Activation Code... Just enter the code from the key card and it should extend the subscription provided you have less than 6 months left on you current one. It will add the 12 months to whatever you have left. Note: Activation codes are good for one year after purchase.

Yes, but it has to be in 6 month of expiration! If it give error contact customer service and show your bill they will renew it.

I'm in the same boat. Midyear expiration. Been waiting and watching. Best price I saw from last year was $27. Given that BF was so weak, not sure if it's gonna get lower than this. @32 I would take it right now.
