It looks like historically the Amazon TT deals takes place the Wednesday after Christmas. Since Christmas was on a Wednesday I'd expect the deal to be on New Years Days. We shall see!

Just bought one, installed TT Deluxe for windows, and plugged in the license# which was sent to my email. Everything worked perfectly.

This is the download link / site from Big Home Tax:

Digging down into the Turbotax, then 2024, then the version and hovering over the download link it does appear to come from Intuit's own servers.

For example, the 2024 Home & Business I purchased through them has a link of: https://downloads.ecom.intuit.com...wnload.exe for Windows and https://downloads.ecom.intuit.com...wnload.dmg for Mac.

Given how Intuit has in the past two year (I believe it's been two years, maybe it was just last year) required an account and activation for the software to be functional, I'm okay with this site (not affiliated with them or the OP in any way.)

To be clear, I have no affiliation with the site either. Posted because my research indicates it was legit despite some of the reviews from folks claiming they sell the same activation code. Was trying to find an alternative option given the Amazon deal may not drop. With credit card protection, I'm not worried.

Saw a post somewhere that Costco will have reduced pricing on Jan 18th. Better to wait until then when Amazon hopefully will match with their $10 gift card.

Agreed, thanks! My state efile was $25 last year so I could take advantage of the credit.

I can wait until 1/18. Most people with a W2 or itemized deductions cannot get far without those forms which are sent out earliest mid-Feb.
