if you can ignore the red, this is the best 6qt on the market
here's why;
- the buttons on the control pad are re-programmable
you can save in your own time/temp without that app.
- when you buy this new, you can double the warranty
by registering it on cosori's websight.
- this separate basket from tray design is best for
even heating and easy cleaning.
i own one in black and use it daily with great results.
i find having a small low grill similar to this;

These touch panels suck, I had 3 different iterations thinking that the newest Pro model would solve them. The button panel fails to register touch or registers ghost touches and turns on by itself after it finishes cooking. The basket does not last long. The reason I like these because the app that I some here complain about allows me to tell alexa to "cook chicken for 20 minutes" and it will, leaving my hands that are covered in whatever I am prepping from touching the panel. My brother has to unplug his after every use.
If the non-stick coating starts falling off this thing after a few months it is not fit for cooking, and should be in the garbage.

Haven't done an extended warranty claim for years. Not sure if I will get screwed, but I have all the paperwork. Will see shortly if there are any warranty loopholes, eg. lost box, have to ship back at my expense, etc..
Assuming, I get my purchase price (PP) back, it would make sense if these things are really disposable to buy the extended warranty to keep annual usage cost down. Extended warranty doesn't cover tax or warranty cost.
Also, another poster mentioned something about "Air fryers are not fit to use if the toxic coating falls off".
I just finished doing the research. I could only find 1 pricey Air Fryer that legitimately does NOT use the toxic coatings and, or have other problems like the ones that claim they don't use toxic coatings.

Assuming I get my cash back on my broken Air Fryer warranty, will def buy the high priced replacement Air Fryer and XTend 4 year extended warranty to manage planned obsolescence risk on this purchase.
