It's definelty a great price, but I have a zephrus with a 12900 and 3070ti. I canceled it so another person can pick it up that needs one.
You have a great machine already, would be better to hold out for the new gen stuff. It seems AMD will be hitting feature parity with nvidia this gen with the added bonus of more VRAM. Let's see what they announce in a couple of weeks.
Wow, ABS plastic on 300-400w burner? One has to appreciate the fume to buy this.
Yes, of course you want an all metal build, OLED display, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD at this price, right?
Majority, if not all, of the gaming laptops at this price have plastic build; Legion Slim, Legion 5, Legion Pro 5, etc.
Do you have any reviews or links that prove this becomes a burner? Every gaming laptop gets warm to different extents.
Please provide a link proving your claim.

Metal build isn't costing, over the plastic build, even a copay of doctor visit. But plastic fume especially ABS fume is dangerous, S stands for styrene. When you smell it, it's already too much.

You shouldn't be having second thoughts for these specs at this price, let alone at $750.

This is not supposed to happen. Either MC inadvertently caused it by pressing on the lid or it's a defected piece that you unfortunately got. This comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty and 15 days Micro Center return policy, I would advise you to take it to MC asap and claim it.

It's not an IPS panel. It shows 16" QHD+ WVA Display on MC website.
I would advise you to first read up on this stuff before making such claims and statements.
IPS is a panel technology while WVA is a marketing term. When it comes to laptops WVA can only be IPS or OLEDs, etc but not TN as it doesn't have wide viewing angles.
In terms of monitors is where the confusion could be as WVA can be IPS but also VA.
Some laptops brands market WVA instead of IPS despite having similar meanings in the context of laptops. Dell uses WVA for its displays too that are IPS, same goes for MSI over here.
