Shrinkflation? $30 used to be the standard price for 6' fold table at Costco and Sams club. I just went to our storage shed to double check the size. Also, does "essential" mean lower quality than the original?

In many cases brands make specific versions for Walmart. I guess this is one of them.

Sterilite does the same thing. Compare the sterilite containers at Walmart to the ones carried at Home Depot, night and day difference. Sterilite just re-did their entire lineup of white-top totes at Walmart and they are complete and utter flimsy garbage. And the lids at the tabs flex a lot when you open the lid, and the plastic starts whitening and weakening after a handful of uses. The sidewalls are thinner and straight without indents, resulting in more flex and less structural integrity. As a result, they can sell, for example, the 6qt container for $1.10 a pop whereas the Home Depot version is $1.99

I have this table. It's worth $30, however, it doesn't lay all the way flat in the middle which is kind of annoying.

Edit: Even with that being said, I ordered a second one from this deal. It is super convenient and fairly compact when folded up.

I know this is gonna be a shot in the dark finding someone that has compared both but does anyone know how this compares to the Plastic Development Group one that Tractor Supply used to put on sale for 30 bucks? The product page seems to be gone now though.

Looks like a brand called Peakform has taken it's place. It looks exactly the same haha. I think the same company makes all these and just stamps a different logo on them.

Good price. I have these and Cosco tables. I expect them to last just as long as eachother, but the build quality on the Cosco is slightly higher if I'm being picky.

I bought and returned the tractor supply tables because of their quality. They would be fine for a temporary setup for a party, but not robust enough for everyday use in the garage.

I already have this 8 footer cosco one which is far sturdier:

The 6ft lifetime tables at sams looked like similar quality to the tractor supply tables. Not sure if the Walmart version is any different.

The maxcheif 8' at sams is also excellent, just like the 8ft cosco at walmart
