I went through a yearly exchange cycle for a $150 Keurig model with Costco, they just didn't last. In November I was working with a single-serve (think hotel-style) K-cup brewer to last me until I could get to Costco to exchange the latest one that died when I saw the $29 sale at Wal Mart. I figured if I can get a year out of it for $29 instead of $150 then that's better.

The new one (this deal's model) stopped brewing after a few weeks, but the fix I found online was easy... fill the reservoir up and lift it up and down and inch or so repeatedly until most of the bubbles stop coming up from the bottom, apparently air can get into the intake and prevent water flow from the reservoir and that method gets the air out.

I will probably order this one to keep in the hold for when my current one breaks completely. Aside from the fixable issue I ran into and the lower reservoir capacity than I was used to, I like this brewer.

They were $29 across the map in November, so if you missed them, here you go again.

Some terrible reviews. Has Keurig entered the product death spiral? Basically, lower quality to lower costs to sell more units, harming the brand and turning people off, ultimately lowering overall profits and slowly killing off the brand, while the competition trounces you at both the low and high end while the middle isn't enough to save you.

The Walmart brand (mainstay) is $19. Does exactly the same thing.

Tiny reservoir and only one cup size. The real problem is how grody a white coffee maker will look in no time.

I have 20 Airbnbs and we use these. They're terrible, 1/2 die every year and we warranty them. I hope Keurig will feel the pain and improve quality at some point but I doubt it. Probably the least reliable product I use.

Aren't Nespressos supposed to make better coffee and be more reliable?

Maybe you should stop renting Airbnb's!

I love Keurig coffee machines, but something very different about this model. It is exclusive to Walmart, I bought one for my girlfriend, she gave it back to me, said it made weak, bad coffee. I tested it and sure enough, not like any other Keurig I have had. I returned it to Walmart for full refund.

Just spend a few dollars more for a newer, full feature model, you will not regret it. The newer Keurig's have "instant on" feature that really works, no longer need to wait for tank to heat up. Also, newer brewing technology. I have had one for over 2 1/2 years, love it!

I have two of these, one is in a vacation home and the other where I live. I have one in white and one in black. The white one, as in this deal, cleans up very nicely and still looks great after using it for a year. I brew 4 cups a day. The coffee is brewed very quickly and the reservoir is handy for holding 3 full cups of water. The coffee is hot and brewed perfectly for me. I clean it a couple of times a year by running white vinegar mixed with equal parts of water through the tank. Both have been holding up just fine.
In my opinion this is a very good deal.

I wonder how many of this model get returned because of that issue. Easy fix (if that is indeed what the problem with yours was), but I told my family 9 out of 10 (or worse) would probably not find that fix for that specific issue, and return it.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I recently got an aeropress, which is sorta kinda the manual version of this, and makes a decent up (although I think I still prefer French press), but sometimes you're just lazy and want a machine to do all the work, and that's what Keurig-style machines are for.

I'm genuinely curious... if they don't last why do you keep buying them? Why don't you go to a regular drip coffee maker? 🤔 I'm not saying to go drip because its cheaper or anything but it's more reliable.
I have a drip coffee maker that I've had for over 5 years. it still works without issues. ive been thinking of a keurig when people gift us k cups even though we say we don't have one. but i find a drip coffee maker offers more options. i still only make one cup or two cups at a time. i learned what ratios i prefer best, plus it's not difficult to make a single cup in them.

Again genuinely curious.
