Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank htp182

I like this one over the blue or brown flavors.

What happens to all the good bacteria when you kill the bad ones with Listerine?

They're gone. Not recommend if you care about your oral microbiome and cardiovascular system health

DO NOT BUY.

Listerine kills both good and bad bacteria and it's acidic ( some have PH below 5.0) which is bad for your teeth enamel ( causes erosion with repeated exposure)
Do your own research and STOP buying those chemical junk and putting it in your mouth. Big Companies are after their bottom line, not your health. Despite what their paid research results advertises.

Regarding its relationship with high blood pressure:
" We found that Listerine cool mint had an adverse effect on some beneficial bacteria," said Chris Kenyon, PhD, a professor at the Institute of Tropical Medicine and one of the authors of the study. "For example, it decreases the abundance of the phylum Actinobacteria. Various Actinomyces species are part of the nitrate-reducing oral bacteria, which convert salivary nitrate to nitrite for further generation of the potent vasodilator nitric oxide, which is important for keeping blood pressure down. The nitrate-nitrite-nitric oxide pathway is an important mechanism linking the oral microbiome to cardiovascular health". https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/...in-cancers

Instead, look for natural alternatives, Like mixing Extra virgin Coconut oil with Cloves essential oil. My dentist what shocked by the results from the natural mouth wash route. No gum recession, no gum puffiness ( super healthy)

That's why I use it in the toilet. The green makes it look amazing!
