Like I reminiscing in my first comment, "Remember when these used to be $300 on sale?" There once were SD posts about Dell selling the disc version online and Staples in-store only for $300.
The PS is too popular for Sony to reduce prices, and Microsoft is just riding the PS train instead of really competing on price... similar to the Nvidia-AMD GPU market dynamic.
