Not sure if the service is worth subbing for more than 1 or 2 months (get a 3-month trial if you can from Best Buy) but definitely check out Severance and Silo (also Ted Lasso albeit it starts great but got kinda meh for me after the first season)
And See is amazing and Severance is also really good
Once a free trial code is successfully redeemed then it can't be reused.
Best Buy, Target, Newegg, etc. offer 3 month trials free 1-2 times per year. Grab new codes every few months.
They usually allow one Apple account to redeem a trial about once per year, so rotate them on Family Share.
But do you have to make a purchase to get those free trials? It seems that way at Best Buy, though Target seems to have a redemption for having Target Circle. But I'm not sure how often they offer it or if I could redeem it more than once with the same Target account. I'm just curious what your experience has been.

Sometimes I get trial codes from purchases. IIRC, Target and Newegg were free for a limited time. Target Circle signup is free.
Just add to cart, use a valid payment method, $0 checkout.
Some trial codes have expiration dates. I just know these are plentiful enough that I've kept it going for years and expect to continue.

I just cancelled back on the 25th after getting 3 months free via the Best Buy offer, and then paying for one month after that because I wanted to watch Silo. Opened up the Apple TV app on my iPhone just now, less than a week after cancelling, with my mind set to bite the bullet and pay for a month in order to finish up Silo, and I had a 3 month for free trial offer on the home page.
Just wanted to let this thread know…. for anyone waiting for this weekend to get a mere 2 days for free. Check your Apple TV app, and there could be a 3 month trial offer waiting for you. YMMV.
Hope this helps.

My older LG tv just gave me another 3 months. Almost ignored it as it was the built in service, not the stand alone hockey puck. Good news was it carried ice to the actual apple device.
Yep, that's I have it right now. 😅

Don't forget Shrinking, For All Mankind and Masters of the Air!
Idk the newest season of For All Mankind is just horrible. They used to have smaller technical advancements and differences but look to be the style of the time period. This season one they just gave up and said fark it everything we have now we would have had in the 90s. It just feels like some boomers wet dream of "if we only had republican presidents in the 70s 80s and 90s we would of advanced technologically by at least 50 years by now"
Favorite streaming service right now. See is probably my all time favorite. I'm loving shrinking right now as well. Severance was great. Ted lasso great. Silo is pretty great.

Best streamer if you like science fiction. Apple gives out theze crazy budgets and directors make shows they can't make anywhere else. (Although they said they will curtail that in the future).
Silo, Foundation, Dark Matter, For All Mankind.
Not enough time to see them all in a weekend but several retailers have free 3 month trials with no purchase necessary. Target is the easiest iirc. Just sign up for free Target circle. You can get the codes and immediately cancel Target circle if you don't want the spam.

I'm shocked any of these streaming services make money considering how easy it is to pirate these things and how fractured everything is now. There are cheap "streaming" services that have a Netflix like UI or let you watch live content (Debrid, IPTV, etc.) that a lay person could use without having to know what a VPN is.
I highly doubt Apple TV is the preferred choice for someone looking for streaming services. Are people actually subscribed to multiple services at the same time and keeping them long term? At best I could see someone subbing for one month to binge watch some recommendation but this whole streaming landscape seems like a house of cards. Like who is subscribed to Apple TV+ indefinitely. You watch Severance or Slow Horses, then turn it off... I just can't see these companies making enough content to keep the subscriber count high long term.
Apple TV ($10)
Netflix ($15.49)
Amazon Prime (baked into Prime membership, but let's include the $2.99 charge)
HBO Max ($16.99 ad free)
Disney+ ($15.99 ad free)
Your own link says people are subscribed to multiple services. The numbers jumped in the pandemic and now they've returned to pre-pandemic numbers. most people don't want to pirate, that's why every time one of these services has a promo it ends up being a fire deal on here.

1. Create up to 4 new Apple IDs
2. Add them to Family Sharing
3. Apply a Best Buy 3 month Apple TV+ trial switching from user to user
I've done this for years with real family members.
The catch is that any individual purchase is paid by the Apple Family Organizer.
