Last I saw, the Ikea cells were made in Japan. Been pretty happy with the ones from Ikea, but admittedly, I don't run them as hard as some.

I looked them up, and the nearest one is over 3.5 hours away. I'm not traveling SEVEN HOURS + fuel + dealing with nonsense in-store just to save seven cents per battery.
Also, aren't the Laddas equivalent to the Panasonic Eneloop Pros (the ones with the black label)?
