Great Clips is $23-28 in SF bay area so this is a great deal for me.

Because they get paid well, the hair stylists are generally pretty decent.

----

For those who are wondering, they get paid the minimum wage ($15) plus tips so they probably make $30+ an hour

It worked for me. $18 haircut for $10. South Florida.

Keep on going until you find a great hair stylist. Then go strictly to that one from then on.

The SoCal prices are now $26 thanks to the state minimum wage going up to $16.50 per hour on Jan.1. I've started using my own clippers and then going into the salon and pay for a "neck trim" at $8. Works well enough to keep the need to pay full price down to 3 or 4 times a year.

P.S. Minimum wage for a fast food worker is now $20/hour. That means you can make $40.000/yr flipping burgers! Welcome to California crazy.
California's GDP in 2023 was $3.8T, representing 14% of the total U.S. economy. If California were a country, it would be the 5th largest economy in the world. Not sure if it's, "crazy" to have its lowest paid workers compensated higher than other states... But you do you.

He probably DID NOT READ DIRECTION. Had the haircut 1st and present the coupon instead of ASKING IF THE JOINT ACCEPTS DIGITAL COUPON!!!

On one hand, one can grumble how much a fast food worker makes - but any of you have done the math on what it takes for reasonable living in CA? The person has to pay higher for rent or pay for gas if he is living far off from civilization, cost of food is high etc.

Not sure why there are so many complaints for Great Clips. Maybe they are messing up people's Gen Z broccoli style haircuts or something but my son and I go there for a simple fade and it's perfect.

Much better than these local "family" homie shops that charge $50 for a fade and talk shit all day.

I went today with my coupon code. They didn't accept it. Oh well, I would have had the haircut anyway. I tipped $6, but would have tipped $8 if they would have accepted the code...win-win for both of us.

these usually work for me, but I go in with the expectation that they won't work and I always say that when I start to pay, if this doesn't work and I'm totally cool with it and I always tip them like five or eight bucks or something anyway as long as they're decent
