8 core processor and strong igpu, but at 4080 price point this is not worth it.

7845hx(12core) or 7945hx(16core) is what you want for gaming with more cache paired with a 4080 or 4090 at this price point.. I would avoid this for gaming, your gonna use the 4080, not its igpu and price is way too high not to have at least a 12+ core processor as well.

Thats not to mention that when they put a strong igpu it usually comes with a good screen. This one is not a good screen which is the major sell point besides the cpu-gpu to buy a laptop.

I would avoid, If you want a 4080 there are better cpu and monitor screen options. like the Alienware M1 16" i am picking up today for $1515+tax with a 12 core 7845HX that has 64k cache and 4080.

there is a '23 that comes with miniLED

It does take up more battery, but it's better than the newer OLED in that it's brighter. but the newer OLED does VRR well apparently

but if you want a 14" with a 4080/90 it's your only option
