8 core processor and strong igpu, but at 4080 price point this is not worth it.
7845hx(12core) or 7945hx(16core) is what you want for gaming with more cache paired with a 4080 or 4090 at this price point.. I would avoid this for gaming, your gonna use the 4080, not its igpu and price is way too high not to have at least a 12+ core processor as well.
Thats not to mention that when they put a strong igpu it usually comes with a good screen. This one is not a good screen which is the major sell point besides the cpu-gpu to buy a laptop.
I would avoid, If you want a 4080 there are better cpu and monitor screen options. like the Alienware M1 16" i am picking up today for $1515+tax with a 12 core 7845HX that has 64k cache and 4080.

but if you want a 14" with a 4080/90 it's your only option

It does take up more battery, but it's better than the newer OLED in that it's brighter. but the newer OLED does VRR well apparently
