It's an okay entry-level brand in the mechanical keyboard world. They are praised for being cheap but also moddable. Most of the issues appear with the software being user-unfriendly.
For this particular board, the knob can't be reprogrammed, which is a huge drawback.

That said, it's going to be hard to find another reputable brand that has Bluetooth and hot-swappable keyboards at this price. Additionally, the stock switches seem to be liked from what I've read on Reddit. I haven't used these flamingo switches myself. So, if you're interested in jumping into the rabbit hole, this is a good place to start for this price.

If only the knob was for volume I would buy this so fast.

I bought one of these and really wanted to like it but ended up returning it. Has a really good 'thocc' sound profile but there was a double spacing issue and sometimes it wouldn't register keys when I'm typing.

Thought it was a dud at first but got a replacement from Amazon and was same thing.

That little mini screen looks cute. 50% off - seriously considering this as my first retail therapy MK of the year..

No Page Up key? Couldn't have found a way to sacrifice Insert? Maybe put the knob there? (Yes, I know you can always remap them, but still.)

Is this any good or just a rando junk brand?

Tempted but missing those standard volume knob and page up key is going to annoy me.

At least this one's mechanical - better value than the equivalent priced Corsair membrane keyboard that was posted recently.

This attack shark seems nice. A bit more, but still a decent price with similar features and a real volume knob: https://attackshark.com/products/...6997754154

Looks like it also supports QMK firmware if you are into customizing.

You can rebind PageUp to Fn+Home with the Epomaker driver/software

Just a note I have this keyboard and it's fine but the software doesn't work in Linux or MacOS. You can use other remapping software, but since I don't have a windows machine here i cant reprogram the little screens date and time etc which makes it pointless. The switching between wired and wireless works well for my use case between a Linux pc and MacBook.

I have a couple of these keyboards for my kiddos, and they're pretty decent. Worth the sale price at least. If you already have a good keyboard, I don't think this one is worth picking up, but if you need a backup (I also can throw this in a backpack pretty easily) you can do worse.
One of my personal favorite keyboards is actually another EPOMAKER board, it's a 75% board in a metal frame that they put on sale for $70, so if you aren't set on this one it's worth waiting around and seeing what else comes up.

Which board are you referring to?

Why does Slickdeals keep posting this crap from epomaker? They are notoriously bad. I tried two different items m from SD, both returned and there was no customer service. Come to find out, they were even banned from their own subreddit by reddit for being a borderline fraudulent company and constantly fielding complaints. Go look for yourself. It's a wasteland of complaints and people wishing they were warned. Slickdeals knows this but apparently continues to endorse them. I don't get it.
